Job Description

Technology Services Group, Inc. seeks a Vice President, Service Management I in Jersey City, NJ, to be responsible for supporting senior analysts and process leads in development, implementation, mentoring of, and maintenance of IT service management (ITSM) processes. ITSM is to manage process of end-to-end delivery of IT services to customers. This includes all the processes and activities to design, create, deliver, and support IT services. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation. Three (3) years of experience must include: Developing and automating Kafka technologies, including Kafka, Zookeepers, Kafka connect, schema registry, Rest proxy and Kafka Mirror Maker; Providing support for application-level performance troubleshooting, investigating memory, CPU, network, and storage issues; Installing firmware upgrades and kernel patches and performing systems configuration tuning on Unix/Linux systems for Kafka and Zookeeper; Configuring AppDynamics agents monitoring on production and corporate servers/storage using APM; Reviewing operational readiness of applications through monitoring tools, scripting, and automation; and Identifying and resolving security risks/vulnerabilities from a system, network and middleware perspective, while establishing measures that proactively find vulnerabilities. Technology Services Group, Inc. assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary/range for this position is expected to be $142,563.00 to $147,000.00 per year at the commencement of employment. Base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.

This position is at-will, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
