The Senior Manager- Cybersecurity and Risk Management Programs will lead and support Federal government programs with the mission of unifying cyber defenders from organizations worldwide to manage and reduce cyber risk to critical infrastructure. The Senior Manager- will operate within the portfolio to lead team(s) and project(s)/task(s) in the development and execution of cybersecurity strategies, long-term planning efforts, partnerships development and stakeholder engagement, and cyber- and risk management-focused product development (e.g., fact sheets, white papers, plans, briefings). Internally, you will assist the Lafayette Group in driving growth opportunities by building relationships with key senior clients and ensuring strong team client delivery, leading and contributing to business development efforts, and helping to mentor and develop junior team members and above.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead program/contract management functions for multiple contracts within the Cyber and Risk Management Portfolio
Serve as a deputy portfolio manager leading multi-faceted client facing team(s) across a range of cybersecurity and risk management focused project/tasks
Apply analytical skill set to develop ideas and solutions for various client challenges
Serve as the primary contract management POC for teaming partners, primes, CORs, and federal program managers on behalf of LGI for multiple contracts
Identify cross-functional opportunities to bring existing or new capabilities to teams throughout the Cyber and Risk Management Portfolio
Contribute to program financial and budget health by recommending staffing decisions to LGI leadership. Lead recruiting and hiring for specific project(s)/program(s) within portfolio
Lead internal and external reporting efforts to demonstrate progress against organizational and/or client goals
Support LGI leadership in business development and capture activities including client relationship building, opportunity identification, and proposal writing across the Cyber and Risk Management Portfolio. Lead a capture/proposal effort as needed/directed
Serve as an administrative manager to multiple staff members including goal development, monthly (at least) check-ins, professional development support, and performance reviews while also serving as a mentor to other junior staff throughout the portfolio
Provide strategic planning expertise and program development both internally for LGI team and as an offering to clients through strategy session facilitation, stakeholder requirements gathering, and alignment with agency/department priorities
Provide risk management subject matter knowledge to inform products, stakeholder engagement, and analysis
Lead final QA/QC for high-profile client deliverables as needed
Advise teams managing qualitative and quantitative research and data gathering to identify key themes, trends, and opportunities from complex information to supportImplementation of federal cybersecurity initiatives
Build strong relationships with senior-level clients and stakeholders across cyber and risk management focused client project
Analyze operational, technical, strategic, and policy information to develop recommendations for improvements in business processes and support execution of process improvements using streamlined approaches and business intelligence tools
Apply broad IT or cybersecurity background to operational, risk management, strategic, and programmatic support for a wide range of cybersecurity initiatives
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) degree in a relevant field such as Business Management, Information Technology, Political Science, or Communications
10+ years of experience in a management consulting or program management role
Experience in risk management, cybersecurity, IT, or national security related field
Experience helping federal government clients start new programs and/or re-imagine programs facing various challenges (e.g., disinterested stakeholders, reduced funding, inadequate staffing, mission creep)
Experience leading a team to execute multi-month projects ensuring on-time, quality delivery
Experience developing briefings, analyzing trends in large data sets, and providing recommendations on business processes and workflows
Proficiency in information and collaboration technologies such as Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint to evaluate, create, store, and communicate information.
Experience leading discussions, presenting project status updates, and proposing solutions to senior managers or senior government clients.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple customers.
Excellent oral and written communication/presentation skills.
Ability to attain a U.S. government public trust and/or security clearance, if required.
Desired Qualifications:
Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Management, Information Technology, or Organizational Management
Current DHS or CISA Entry on Duty (EOD) status
Experience in federal government consulting and contracting

Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000
