Program Lead, Finance Students & Grads Program

The Finance Students & Grads Program team builds Capital One's pipeline of future leaders by delivering a program focused on attracting, retaining, and developing campus hires into the Global Finance organization. We are looking for an exceptional Program Manager to deliver our college hire and internship programs driving functions such as training and development, rotation identification, setting Orientation, Summit & Internship agendas, networking through the enterprise, developing relationships with the program accountable executives and key stakeholders, and facilitating talent movement. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing new talent as well as proven experience in leading projects across multiple functions.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for identifying and executing on a well-managed, visionary program strategy for both our intern and full-time programs

  • Laser focus on continuous improvement opportunities to support our business & associate needs

  • Flawlessly deliver the core experience and learning & development curriculum for the Finance Rotation Program associates

  • Serve as the People Leader to an Associate-level direct report who oversees the Finance Intern Program

  • Build strong relationships and support network for program including but not limited to regular check-ins with FRP associates, managers, ambassadors, Accountable Executives, recruiting partners, and other key program stakeholders

  • Partner with key program stakeholders to facilitate the job rotation process

  • Support recruiting strategies to attract a diverse and talent cohort to join the program

  • Coach and develop associates in the program, provide mentoring advice and career coaching

  • Own and drive performance management process

  • Engage with senior leaders across Finance and Human Resources to ensure a consistently exceptional experience for our program associates

  • Utilize data to understand trends and align with partners to solve problems and improve FRP/FIP experience

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or military experience

  • At least 3 years of experience working in program management or at least 3 years of working in employee development or a combination of both

Preferred qualifications

  • At least 4 years of experience in recruiting, or at least 4 years of experience in other human resources roles, or at least 4 years of marketing, or at least 4 years of consulting, or a combination of any of the above

  • At least 2 years of experience with project management

  • At least 2 years of experience with event management

  • Experience interpreting metrics and trends
